Discover Music! 2024
A three day summer holiday course for children aged 6-10 years.
Tuesday 13th to Thursday 15th August.
Now in its 26th year, this unique course introduces children with little or no musical experience to the instruments of the orchestra, including strings, wind, brass, percussion, harp, and piano. If your child would like to play an instrument, but isn't sure which one to choose, then our course will open up the world of music to them, with lots of fun along the way! The children learn about and have a go on all the instruments. They also learn the beginnings of reading and writing music, and there is a choir and an orchestra for those who may have already started to play an instrument.
All this takes place in a safe environment with plenty of time set aside for the children to play games in our glorious gardens! A resident matron attends to any pastoral and medical needs and adults supervise the children at all times.
