A three day summer holiday course for children aged 6-10 years, running from Tuesday 11th to Thursday 13th August 2020, 10:00am – 5:00pm.
Now in its 23rd year, this unique course introduces children with little or no musical experience to the instruments of the orchestra, including strings, wind, brass, percussion, harp, and piano. If your child would like to play an instrument, but isn’t sure which one to choose, then our course will open up the world of music to them, with lots of fun along the way! The children learn about and have a go on all the instruments. They also learn the beginnings of reading and writing music. There is a choir and an orchestra for those who may have already started to play an instrument .
All in a safe environment with plenty of time set aside for the children to play games in our glorious gardens and swim in our heated pool! A resident matron attends to any pastoral and medical needs, a lifeguard is present for swimming, and adults supervise the children at all times.
Please bring a packed lunch. We provide morning refreshments and afternoon tea.
