Mini Music Music for young children

It's never too soon to start your musical journey, and our music classes for young children are the perfect introduction. Our Mini-Music introduces children of 4-7 years to all the common musical instruments, while budding violinists and pianists can join our Suzuki violin lessons and Preliminary Piano classes.

Any instrument…

Piano, guitar, violin, viola, cello, bass, harp, flute, oboe, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, horn, trombone… the list goes on! Whatever takes your fancy, call us and we'll try to fit you in! More on instruments we teach

Any style…

Classical music training gives you the foundation for almost any musical style, so that's where we recommend you start. But we also teach jazz, rock/pop, R&B, country…

Any age…

Our youngest pupils are under 4 and our oldest ... well, that would be indiscreet! But no matter how many years you have under your belt, it's never too late to learn a musical instrument.

Any level…

We welcome complete beginners – indeed our Mini Music classes are for those who are not even yet old enough to start learning an instrument! At the other end of the scale, if you're working for a diploma or beyond, our specialists will be delighted to help you.

On site or online

One of the few benefits of the Covid-19 experience was that it opened up the possibility of online teaching. We still prefer it if you can visit our comfortable premises in Hindhead for face-to-face teaching, but the online option is there for those who find this inconvenient, either regularly or occasionally.

And much more!

Learning from a specialist music school offers so many benefits over private teaching. Schedule multiple lessons for all your kids at the same time! Take music theory classes and exam practice runs; enjoy ensembles, orchestras and concerts in a welcoming atmosphere of happy music-making. Browse our Activities page to get an idea of what's available!
